Rehoboth Beach Tree Lighting
Date: November 28, 2025 Time: 6:30pm - 7:15pm Location: Rehoboth Beach Band Stand Each year on the Friday evening after Thanksgiving, the Rehoboth Beach community comes together to kick off the holiday season with the annual tree lighting at the bandstand. The event starts at 6:30 pm and includes festive holiday songs and a joyful countdown to the lighting of the community tree.
Fire and Ice Festival
Dates: January 30 - February 1, 2026 Delaware’s Fire & Ice Festival is a weekend-long celebration spanning multiple towns in southern Delaware. Each year, the festival features stunning themed ice sculptures, expertly crafted by master carvers. Guests can enjoy food trucks, cozy fire pits, live entertainment, and a variety of family-friendly activities—all part of this free community event.
Schelleville
Date: November 15 - December 30, 2025 Location: 36470 Seaside Outlet Drive, Rehoboth Beach, DE, 19971 Schellville is a festive winter wonderland created by Schell Brothers, featuring over five acres of holiday magic in Coastal Delaware. What began in 2017 as a small Christmas village has grown into a full seasonal experience with train rides, snow zones, visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus, artisan shops, and endless family-friendly fun.
Santa Bar Crawl
Date: December 6, 2025 Time: 1:00pm Location: Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk The Rehoboth Beach Santa Bar Crawl is a festive, charitable event held each December to benefit the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation and the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation. Participants dress as Santa or Mrs. Claus and spread holiday cheer as they visit local bars and restaurants, each serving as a toy drop-off location. The crawl kicks off with a group photo on the boardwalk and features an afternoon of fun, community spirit, and giving—collecting thousands of toys and donations to support those in need.
Santa's House
Date: November 28 - December 23, 2025 Location: Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk A must-visit holiday tradition at Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk in Delaware — located at the east end of Rehoboth Avenue, this charming pop-up “Santa’s House” invites children and families to stop in, tell Santa their Christmas wishes, take festive photos, and soak in the holiday spirit. Entry is free, and visitors are welcome to bring a holiday-donation if they’re moved to do so.
Lewes Lights
Date: December 6, 2025 Time: 1:00pm Location: Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk Lewes Lights is a free, community-driven holiday light tour that transforms Lewes, Delaware into a dazzling winter wonderland each December. Homeowners and businesses throughout the “First Town in the First State” decorate with festive displays, creating a self-guided driving tour filled with holiday cheer. The event celebrates community spirit, joy, and togetherness—inviting visitors to explore the lights, shop locally, and share in the magic of the season.
